Resurfacing / Track Maintenance SupervisorBrimble is seeking an experienced and motivated Resurfacing / Track Maintenance Supervisor to lead and support a small team of operator maintainers across multiple projects in the Hunter Valley region and beyond.
In this role, you will:
Supervise and guide a team of operator maintainers in performing rail resurfacing and track maintenance activities.Operate and maintain specialised rail resurfacing machinery to deliver high-quality results.Oversee the installation, repairs, and maintenance of electrical and mechanical systems on advanced rail resurfacing equipment.Conduct inspections, diagnose faults, and ensure all maintenance work aligns with schedules and standards.Provide on-the-job training and mentorship to team members, fostering skill development and knowledge-sharing.Respond to breakdowns and contribute to multi-trade operations to minimise downtime.Travel to various project sites to support maintenance and operational needs.About You Proven experience in rail resurfacing, track maintenance, or a similar field.Strong supervisory skills with a hands-on approach and a proactive mindset.In-depth knowledge of WHS practices and rail safety standards.Flexibility to travel to various locations and work a rotating roster, including overtime.The ability to meet medical requirements for a CAT 1 Medical and obtain/maintain a Rail Industry Worker (RIW) card.About Brimble We're proudly 100% Australian-owned, and our technology is custom, developed right here on Australian soil.
