The Opportunity
We have an excellent opportunity for a Perway Patroller to join our team based in Northam. As the Perway Patroller, your primary responsibility will be to patrol, inspect and report on the condition of our railway infrastructure in accordance with the Railway Code of Practice and to carry out (or arrange) repairs of our infrastructure as per our maintenance procedures. The position is best suited to candidates who are happy to spend time working alone, participate in an on call roster and regularly be away from home.
The role is based in Northam and we are looking for candidates that live in Northam (or surrounds).
About You
To be successful in this role you must have:
* Good working knowledge of track maintenance and procedures (at least 2 years relevant experience)
* Sound planning and organisational skills
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to prioritise work and meet deadlines
* WA Manual driver's licence (unrestricted)
