Motorcycling Australia (MA) is looking for an enthusiastic Events Coordinator to join the exciting world of motorcycle sport. As a key player in the National Sporting Organisation you will have the opportunity to develop the sport, while gaining experience in the delivery of key national championships.MA is the peak body for motorcycle sport in Australia, recognized by the Australian Sports Commission (SportAus) and is an affiliated federation of the Federation Internationale de Motocyclisme (FIM); the world governing body for motorcycle sport.A non for-profit organization, MA has over 30,000 annual license holders and has a participation of around 250,000 per annum. MA is also the promoter of the Australian Superbike Championship (ASBK), Australian Motocross Championship (ProMX) and the Australian Off-Road Championship (AORC). A new and exciting opportunity has presented itself for a strong Events Coordinator, with at least two years or more experience delivering public events, to develop and grow motorcycle racing nationally.OBJECTIVES OF THE POSITION Ensure the successful administration of Australian Championships, National events and International events held within Australia.Develop and maintain relationships with Motorcycling Australia's event-related promoters, clubs, commissions and other stakeholders.Oversee the operational aspects of selected Australian Motorcycle Championships promoted by Motorcycling Australia.DUTIES OF THE POSITION Australian Championships and National Events MA Promoted Events may include: Australian Superbike Championship (ASBK)Australian Motocross Championship (ProMX)Australian Off-Road Championship (AORC)Supported Events, administrative assistance may include: Historic Road Race ChampionshipAustralian Track/Dirt Track ChampionshipAustralian Supercross ChampionshipAustralian Trials ChampionshipAustralian Junior Motocross ChampionshipAustralian Speedway ChampionshipMA Promoted Australian Championship Working with the Event Manager, on-site delivery of a National ChampionshipCoordinate communication with competitors, teams, contractors, and partners as required;End to end management of the Volunteer Officials Program;Coordinate all travel for Staff and Senior Officials, including accommodation, flights, and car hire;Oversee events administration as required including distribution of prize money schedule etc, and assisting the Race Secretary as needed; Liaise with venues to finalise event specific information;Coordinate all spectator information including website, ticketing, and off-track activity in coordination with the Event Manager;Arrange artwork, signage, trophies, and promotional items as required.Coordinate and manage the pre and post administration of Australian Championships and National Events As per Primary Events: Manage the applications and approvals to host a National Championship;Appointment of officials;Issue permits;Liaise with relevant stakeholders and Commission in the development of supplementary regulations (SR) and resolution of event-related issues;Liaise with clubs/promoters of Australian Championships and National Events;Archive essential information for primary events i.e. SR, list of competitors, results, stewards report, incident and injury reports;Other duties as directed and required.Administration: Manage all event records and ensure these are accurate and up to date;Develop and update event processes and forms;Create event file checklists and file register and distribute as required;Coordinate invoicing of permit fees and rider levies.
