As a Commis Chef in our Banquets Kitchen, you will be responsible for preparing consistent, high-quality food products in line with Hyatt Standards.
Some of the responsibilities include: Assisting in the preparation of ingredients.Following recipes and ensuring consistency in food preparation for large-scale banquet events.Maintaining the assigned station/section in a clean and orderly manner at all times.Cooking and assembling dishes under the supervision of senior chefs.Qualifications: A successful candidate will have: Minimum 1 year work experience.Experience in luxury international brands is highly regarded.Qualification in Commercial Cookery.Comprehensive knowledge of kitchen hygiene practices and occupational health and safety standards is essential.A true desire to exceed guest expectations in a fast-paced customer service environment.A career with Hyatt opens a world of opportunities.
