About the Role
As an Administration Officer at Streaky Bay Hospital, you will play a crucial role in providing general administrative and clerical services within a designated clinical service area. Your responsibilities will include:
Administrative Support: Deliver comprehensive administrative and clerical services to ensure the smooth operation of the ward/unit, including managing client information and facilitating internal communication.
Customer Service: Provide a high level of customer-focused service to staff, medical practitioners, clients, and their significant others, ensuring all interactions are professional and supportive.
Communication Facilitation: Act as a key liaison between the ward/unit and other services, ensuring effective communication and coordination.
Support to Senior Staff: Offer significant administrative support to senior nursing staff, assisting with various tasks and contributing to the overall efficiency of the clinical service area.
What We’re Looking For
Administrative Skills: Proven experience in providing clerical/administrative support service, including the maintenance of records and systems.
Customer Focus: Strong interpersonal skills with a commitment to delivering excellent customer service to a diverse range of individuals.
Organisational Abilities: Excellent organisational and multitasking skills, with the ability to manage information and tasks efficiently.
Communication Skills: Effective communication skills to facilitate coordination within the ward/unit and with other services.
