General Manager of Finance - Financial Controller The Company An award-winning tier 3 Building and Restoration group based in Sutherland Shire that specialise in insurance repairs, property restoration, strata remediation services, commercial, residential and government building services. The role They are looking for a fully qualified Finance Manager with a background in Construction to join their close-knit team. This full time/long term position will suit someone who is a fully qualified finance manager. This hands-on role will require someone that is a hardworking individual who can thrive in a small team with a positive attitude to work against deadlines. Duties and Responsibilities: Monthly & Annual financial reporting Cashflow forecasting Consolidated management accounts Project reporting Annual QBCC financial reporting & monitoring of financial ratios monthly Annual Income Tax return preparation for the group companies Key user for financial & project management system Management of Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Payroll Asset Purchase Liaise with financiers to obtain asset finance. Reporting on financial liabilities Recording of interest on liabilities Bank Covenant reporting. Update PPSR Preparation & lodgement of BAS, FBT, other reporting to ATO Qualifications: Tertiary qualifications in Finance or Accounting Private entity / company tax experience Excellent communication skills Familiar with Procore. Ability to engage effectively with internal / external stakeholders. Exposure of managing Accounts payable, Accounts receivable and payroll teams Ability to embrace working in a close-knit team and a passion for the Construction industry.
