About the Role:We're currently seeking experienced Heavy Vehicle Mechanics to join a team working on a long-term project involving the maintenance and servicing of specialized vehicles and equipment.
You'll be responsible for ensuring the fleet operates safely, efficiently, and reliably.Key Responsibilities:Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on heavy vehicles and equipmentDiagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical faultsRepair engines, transmissions, brakes, suspension systems, and hydraulicsConduct inspections and testing to ensure roadworthinessMaintain accurate service records and documentationWork collaboratively with technicians, supervisors, and engineersFollow all safety and compliance proceduresAbout You:Trade qualified Heavy Vehicle Mechanic (Cert III in Heavy Commercial Vehicle Mechanical Technology or equivalent)Minimum 2 years post-trade experience in heavy vehicle or mobile plant maintenanceStrong understanding of diesel engines, hydraulics, and electrical systemsExperience working on specialized or high-spec equipment is a bonusCurrent driver's licence (HR licence preferred)Forklift, EWP or other relevant tickets advantageousAble to pass medical and police clearance checksWhat's On Offer:Long-term, stable employment with a respected contractorCompetitive hourly rate Work on unique, specialized vehicles and equipmentSupportive team environment with a strong safety cultureOpportunity for growth and upskilling on high-value projectsReady to take the next step in your career?
