About the Opportunity Utilising ARTC's strategies and obligations, develop, implement and maintain ARTC's System Engineering management framework and processes for ARTC's Rail Systems business unit.
Support the formulation and implementation of a comprehensive engineering approach that aligns with the principles of System Engineering (SE) incorporating requirements engineering according to V life cycle and having the ability to vary the approach according to complexities of rail projects and scope.Develop and maintain SE methodologies, tools, and best practices to enhance project outcomes, specifically for complete project life cycle for complex railway control systems and signalling disciplined projects.Develop customisable requirements engineering processes including process of development, elicitation and tracking of requirements incorporated into railway hazard management. The process of change control of requirements with applicable tools must be central to the requirements.Manage the development of signalling work packages nominated by the Rail Systems Project Manager to achieve the defined deliverables.Manage signalling and Third-Party services design packages in liaison with the Rail Systems Project Manager.Monitor and evaluate the performance of Signalling by conducting regular reviews of projects against indicators to assist the Rail Systems Project Manager in the resolution of project issues.What do we want from you? Bachelor's degree in systems engineering, Engineering Management, Requirements.Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.Ability to apply analytical thinking in managing requirements specifications based on applicable standards.Solid understanding of railway systems' safety risks and management of risk reduction using SE application approaches.Expertise in managing non-conformances issues in SE and requirements outcomes on railway projects.Minimum 8 years' experience in development and application of system engineering processes on railway projects.Minimum 5 years' experience in application of requirements management on railway projects.Minimum 3 years' experience in systems assurance or similar on railway projects.What will you get from us?
