We’re looking for Qualified Personal Care Workers to work on casual shifts in our lovely Gisborne Oaks, home to 78 residents.
Our residential aged care homes are just that - a home for our residents. They provide a comforting and warm space for older Victorians to live, supported 24/7 by our experienced and kind-hearted staff.
You’ll work as part of a team of people and help with showering, dressing, simple cleaning, linen service, and meals. But you’ll also be there to spend time with residents, share stories, connect and show kindness and empathy.

To best support our residents, we’re looking for more motivated carers with:
* A genuine passion for caring and ability to build rapport with clients
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Completed or currently studying a Cert III or higher in Individual Support, Disability Support, or a related qualification. If you have completed the first year of your nursing studies, and have completed your placements, you will be a qualified Care Worker.
* Respect for all, regardless of background, gender, age, religion, race, or sexual orientation
* The annual flu immunisation and a commitment to receiving the immunisation each year
To work in Residential Aged Care you will need to have an NDIS Worker Screening Check. The NDIS Check lasts for 5 years and can be used with any organisation/employer. You can still apply for a job if you do not have the Check already, but you will need to receive it before you can start working.
