What you’ll be responsible for
4. Reporting to Veolia Senior Management and ACT Project Controls Groups
5. Significant coordination to Government Agencies to procure Development Approvals
6. Management of Building and Technology subcontracts
7. Full project responsibility from Head Contract award through to Handover to Operations
8. Establish strong working relationships with key stakeholders including the customer, government entities, builders, tech providers, internal teams, and external parties
9. Develop detailed project execution methodology to ensure efficient and collaborative delivery
10. Mentor, coach, and develop team members' project management skills
11. Plan, deliver, and review projects according to scope, quality, budget, and timeframe requirements while managing risks, safety, and compliance
12. Manage project commercial aspects including reporting, budgeting, cash flow forecasting, supply chain, procurement, and vendor performance
What you’ll need to be successful
The successful candidate will offer:
13. Degree qualifications in engineering, project management or similar
14. An extensive background managing waste/industrial/civil infrastructure projects above $75 million
15. Substantial experience in contract management and procurement of authorisations
16. A background in industrial buildings and waste processing technologies
17. Significant experience in reporting to senior management
18. Current drivers licence and Construction Industry White Card
