We are looking for an experienced Line Setter / Machine Setter to join our afternoon shift or night shift team, ensuring seamless and efficient operation of our production line while maintaining our high standards for safety and quality.As a Line Setter / Machine Setter, you will be responsible for setting up, calibrating, and maintaining equipment, coordinating efficient production processes, troubleshooting issues, and monitoring product quality. This is a hands-on role that requires strong technical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently.Key Responsibilities Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP): Ensure all work complies with GMP, maintaining cleanliness, quality, and safety standards.Efficient Line Management: Coordinate tasks to keep production running smoothly, maximizing productivity and minimizing downtime.Equipment Changeover: Complete precise changeovers of filling, capping, and labelling equipment within specified timeframes.Troubleshooting: Quickly resolve and adjust equipment issues to reduce wastage and maintain high-quality output.Product Quality Monitoring: Inspect product quality during production, making necessary adjustments to maintain standards.Documentation: Use EJS (Electronic Job Sheets) and other systems to complete necessary documentation and reporting.Training and Compliance: Engage in ongoing training in SOPs, GMP, and OH&SKey Skills High mechanical aptitude and experience with machineryProficiency in troubleshooting and problem-solvingAdvanced understanding of GMP and OH&S practicesExcellent written and verbal communication skillsProactive and able to work effectively without supervisionProven experience operating machines in food manufacturing or pharmaceutical environmentsExperience and Requirements Industry Experience: Minimum 5 years' experience in Pharmaceutical, Cosmetic, Food, Packaging, Automotive, or other FMCG sectors is desirable.Experience in the aerosols industry desirableTechnical Skills: Essential experience with setting up, adjusting for changeovers, and cleaning packaging machinery on a production line.Licenses: Must have a valid driver's license and own vehicle. Forklift license advantageous.Citizenship: PR or NZ/Australian Citizenship required.
