The Opportunity: We are seeking a self-motivated, dedicated, and experienced Assistant Store Manager to lead a team of retail employees within a large format retail store in Morwell. About You: Your success factors will be your ability to: Lead a team in a high volume fast-moving setting or General Merchandise, however this is not a necessity. Have flexibility and commitment to work in a 7-day store. Your Responsibilities: An Assistant Store Manager has four key areas of responsibility: People, Product, Processes and Store: People: Have a passion for coaching, developing and empowering teams of 20+ through constructive and positive performance management with a hands-on approach. Have strong communication, motivational and leadership skills that display an eagerness to make a difference. Product: Have a flair for merchandising. Have a strong passion and focus on driving high volumes of stock. Processes: Reporting to the Store Manager, you will be responsible for the store's financial performance (sales, controllable costs etc.), customer service standards, store standards and inventory management. Store: Actively maintain store standards through leading by example. Have a strong focus on promoting and leading health and safety in store.
