Position Summary
Analyse financial information and prepare financial reports to determine or maintain record of assets, liabilities, profit and loss, tax liability, or other financial activities for the Firm’s clients. Senior managers are also responsible for the management and development of junior staff.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Plan and delegate work to the team;
2. Detailed review of work papers and ensure they support financial statements;
3. Applies knowledge of the business environment within which the client is operating and how the client is positioned in the industry;
4. Consideration to long term perspective on clients industry and identifies possible opportunities and risks for the client;
5. Meets with clients and is able to form positive relationships;
6. Manages work flow of the team and communicates with the partner on a frequent basis on necessary matters;
7. Advises clients on practical and commercial issues and develops solutions which genuinely add value to the clients business;
8. Shares knowledge, best practices and industry market trends to actively increase the overall knowledge of the team;
9. Reviews work of junior team members;
10. Designs, develops and analyses financial models;
11. Resolves any complex accounting issues;
12. Analyses management accounting reports and provides advice to clients; and
13. Ensure information in income tax returns is consistent with understanding of the clients business.
EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:
Essential
14. Business / Commerce degree with Accounting Major
15. Completed CA or equivalent
DEMONSTRATED EXPERIENCE & ATTRIBUTES:
Essential
16. 8+ years’ experience in Professional Services
17. 3 – 4 years managing a team
18. Business development experience
19. Previous experience managing a team
20. Excellent time management skills
21. Strong Communication Skills
22. Strong attention to detail
23. Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team

25. Has developed internal and external network of specialists, professionals and associations
