Involve in the initial stage of project surveys and investigations, assist in the planning and design of civil engineering works.
Prepare construction drawings, design sketches, charts, tabulations, and plans for civil engineering projects and verify their accuracy.
Estimate material costs and perform tests on materials, ensure finished works are within specifications, regulations and contract provisions.
Oversee the advancement of civil construction projects, and guarantee adherence to project requirements and specifications.
Inspect civil engineering works, and organise and supervise maintenance and repair work
Pinpoint and address engineering technical issues and challenges, and offer inventive approaches to bolster project productivity and success.
Stay aware of company goals and strategies to ensure projects align with business priorities.
SELECTION CRITERIA
Tertiary qualification
At least 5 years of highly relevant experience in a similar role
Strong knowledge of Computer-Aided Design (CAD) is a MUST
Attention to detail and passion for safety, environment and quality of work
Ability to read and interpret construction plans and blueprints
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
High level of written and oral communication skills
