This newly created role is an excellent opportunity to step into a dynamic environment and play a pivotal part in driving payroll efficiency and improvements. The Role In this leadership role, you will oversee the accurate and timely processing of all payrolls across a multi-entity group, ensuring compliance with payroll laws and company policies. Reporting to the Payroll/HR Manager, you'll lead a team of 10 payroll officers, focusing on fostering a collaborative and productive work culture. You will be responsible for: Payroll Processing: Overseeing payroll operations and ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficient workflow management. Team Leadership: Mentoring and supervising payroll staff, assigning tasks, and promoting team development. Data Management and Validation: Ensuring accurate collection and validation of payroll data and resolving discrepancies before submission. Compliance and Reporting: Keeping up with regulatory changes and generating payroll reports for senior management. Process Improvement: Identifying inefficiencies and implementing streamlined payroll processes in collaboration with HR, finance, and IT teams. Problem-Solving and Issue Resolution: Addressing payroll discrepancies and acting as the go-to contact for payroll inquiries from internal and external stakeholders. The Candidate To succeed in this role, you will bring strong payroll knowledge, leadership skills, and attention to detail. You will have the ability to manage both people and processes effectively. We're looking for candidates with: Team Leadership: Experience in leading, mentoring, and supervising a team while collaborating effectively with HR, finance, and IT. Data Validation Expertise: A track record of ensuring payroll accuracy and compliance through meticulous data validation. Process Improvement Skills: Strong analytical capabilities to identify and implement opportunities for enhanced payroll efficiency. Stakeholder Communication: Proven ability to effectively communicate with different departments and manage stakeholder expectations. Compliance Knowledge: An in-depth understanding of payroll regulations and compliance requirements.
