Fuse Recruitment are currently recruiting for experienced Food Production Workers to work day shift, Monday to Friday 8am to 4:30pm paying $33 p/hr + Super.Our client is an industry leader in the food manufacturing and FMCG industries.Supplying Nationwide as well as internationally.For You: $33 p/hr + Super on day shift 8am – 4:30pm shift Free onsite parking!Working with an industry Leader!Room for career growth and progression!Temp to Perm after 6 months!Public transport available!The Role: Food Production Worker Your main duties will involve: Receive food items and ensure appropriate storage.Operate food processing equipment.Ensure that all raw food items received are of good quality and a proper quantity Count and record food items Make sure that frozen food items are stored and rotated properly Prepare poultry for cooking and processing Operate machinery for managing chemical treating activities such as crushing and mixing Participate in packaging and assembling food items Prepare processed food in accordance with recipes Clean counters and floors to ensure a safe working environment Perform duties on the packaging line by loading and adjusting items Label packaged food items appropriately Prepare raw materials by removing bones and fat and cut them Use knives and choppers to perform cutting and chopping activities and ensure that all cut and chopped meats are stored in a proper manner Make use of scales to weigh meat before and after each process and ensure that each stage is documented for reference purposes Pack cleaned and processed meat into appropriate packaging, ensuring that it is cover properly with plastic wraps Sanitize all materials and machinery parts at the end of each shift and clean the workspace at the worker station by following company cleanliness standards Shift Available : Day: 8am – 4:30pm Monday to Friday $33 p/hr The Candidates: To be successful in obtaining this role you will have the following experience: Previous experience in a food production role Handling meat and poultry in a food manufacturing environment Working in a cold environment dealing with the prepping and making of RAW food products on a fast-paced line.Ability to follow directions and work in a safe manner.Handling frozen, chilled and dry food products Food production machine operating experience Knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices to ensure the highest quality of products.Physically fit and able to stand for long periods Lifting up to 25 kgs Advantageous Previous food production experience across cutting and deboning of meats Forklift License (Pay will increase if operating a forklift to $36 p/hr) If this position sounds like you then hit APPLY now, alternatively email Mike on ****** your resume.At Fuse, we specialise in recruitment for the manufacturing industry and actively source a variety of roles for a broad range of manufacturers.If you are looking for a new opportunity, we'd love to hear from you!If you know someone looking for a job, refer them to us and we'll give you $500* if we find them a new role!Consultant ****** Reference number: BH-32516 Profession:Manufacturing, Transport & LogisticsAssembly & Process Work Company: Fuse Recruitment Date posted: 16th Oct, 2024
