About this role
You will work with SDN leadership as the lead on projects and administration that support programs being delivered to children, young people and their families. You will support SDN Leadership to innovate, develop and implement high quality training, standards, documentation tools, practices and systems to support service delivery.
* Hold children and young people at the centre of all that you do.
* Accurate and timely data management, entry and remediation for Government departments
* Coordinate and manage the daily functions of the Senior Operations Manager and Operations Manager including diary management, arrangements of meetings, receive visitors, manage incoming calls and correspondence and make travel arrangements
* Provide high level administrative assistance to the Senior Operations Manager and Operations Manager including research and assistance on projects
* Perform executive secretarial work, including preparation of non-routine correspondence
* Prepare papers for and take minutes of meetings
* Manage room bookings, set up and pack up for a range of meetings and events across multiple SDN or external sites
* Develop, maintain, review and evaluate administrative systems and procedures and make recommendations for improvements
* Prepare, manage and review the provision of high-level communications and correspondence including briefings, reports, submissions and notes of written information
* Research and prepare advice, information and reports on diverse and complex policy, planning and operational matters to facilitate informed decision making and planning
* Lead and/or contribute to projects to support the achievement of organisation level strategic and operational objectives
* Coordinate and work collaboratively with external stakeholders, whilst managing stakeholder expectations through open, accurate and timely communication
About you
* Ability to work under pressure, manage competing priorities and work according to deadlines
* Experience in project coordination and administration
* Excellent customer service and internal consulting skills
* Impeccable attention to detail and respect for processes and systems
* Experience creating presentations and reports
* Stakeholder experience, including negotiation, influence and relationship management skills
* Ability to communicate effectively, both written and verbal at all levels
* Current drivers license and own comprehensively insured car
* A Working with Children’s Check (NSW) and National Police Check.
