About the position As a Registered Nurse you will have the opportunity to make a real difference for people living with disability by supporting them to achieve their home and living goals. The role provides general nursing support to our customers along with the following duties:Implement your clinical skills to meet a diverse range of customer health needs.Monitor the health and wellbeing needs of customers and provide advice, guidance, and support to non-clinical team members.Provide clinical practice advice and consultancy to the Community Services team to foster optimal health and wellbeing of customers.Strive to achieve positive outcomes for customers by working collaboratively with them and their support networks, including families, allied health professionals, and medical practitioners, to advocate for customers within the health system.Undertake evidence-based general nursing tasks for customers such as wound care, urinary and bowel care, respiratory and airway management, care planning, and medication management.Plan, develop, evaluate, and undertake clinical assessments and support plans to guide practice.Be the most senior clinical person on shift and guide a team of Enrolled Nurses and Support Workers to deliver the highest quality of clinical care to customers.This position is Casual, based at a 20-bed site in Coolbinia.Shift Times: AM Shift: 7:00 AM – 3:00 PMPM Shift: 2:30 PM – 10:30 PMNight Duty Shift: 10:00 PM – 7:30 AMBenefits Our employees are deeply connected with our vision and work passionately to support our customers to achieve their goals.
