You'll handle complex inquiries, applying sound judgment, initiative, and exercise discretion in decision-making.
Reporting directly to the Pro Vice-Chancellor (Research Training), you'll also receive direction from the Director of the Graduate Research School, Lucy Jones.
The Organisation The Division of Research & Enterprise at UNSW is responsible for the strategic research direction and overall research performance of the University, and in particular, maintaining and advancing the University's profile in research and research training, as well as technology transfer.

Who you are You have extensive experience delivering high-quality operational and management support at the executive level, underpinned by demonstrated proficiency in prioritising tasks, managing competing deadlines, maintaining attention to detail and managing sensitive and confidential matters with discretion.
Your problem-solving enables you to identify and address administrative challenges efficiently, whether working independently or in collaboration with a team, ensuring accurate and timely outcomes. Your influencing and negotiation skills, coupled with a proven ability to cultivate and sustain effective relationships, equip you to secure necessary resources from a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders.
You can also demonstrate your positive, customer-focused approach while working under pressure, written and verbal communication skills, and advanced computer literacy to produce high-level correspondence and reports informed by thorough research and data analysis.
You'll also commit to UNSW's aims, objectives and values, together with relevant policy and guidelines and workplace health and safety, encompassing both psychosocial and physical considerations.
