Responsibilities
1. Product Strategy Development : In consultation with the relevant business owners, develop and articulate a clear digital product strategy aligned with the bank's overall vision and goals, and the vendor's product roadmap. Stay abreast of industry trends, customer needs, andpetitor offerings to continuously refine and enhance the product roadmap.
2. Product Leadership : Work with the cross-functional team, providing mentorship and support to ensure the successful delivery of our digital products. Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement within the team. Coach and mentor SME's and product managers.
3. Stakeholder Management : Establish strong relationships with key internal and external stakeholders to effectivelymunicate product vision, priorities, and progress to ensure alignment and support.
4. Product Lifecycle Management : Build and maintain a deep understanding of all the product aspects, including the member and user perspective,petitive products and our technical capabilities. Own the end-to-end product lifecycle, from concept to launch to ongoing optimisation. Define product requirements, prioritise features, and manage backlog grooming and sprint planning activities through structured engagement with key stakeholders. Lead planning activities with the team responsible for defining and writing user stories, acceptance criteria and user interface design for platform and product enhancements.
5. Customer-Centric Approach : Champion a customer-centric approach to product development, leveraging user research, feedback, and analytics to inform decision-making and drive product enhancements.
6. Risk andpliance : Ensure that all digital productsply with regulatory requirements and internal policies. Collaborate withpliance and legal teams to mitigate risk and maintain a strong control environment. Proactively identify risks and rmends actions to avoid, mitigate or accept risks. Promotes a sound risk culture by routinely analysing, avoiding, mitigating or accepting risks.
7. Performance Monitoring and Optimisation : Define key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to track the success of digital products. Analyse data and insights to identify opportunities for optimization and drive continuous improvement.
About you
You have a genuine passion for digital technologies and demonstrated experience in a digital product management role. You have strong demonstrated experience of successful delivery and support of member-centric platforms in financial sector including end to end SDLC in a hybrid delivery environment.
Knowledge and Experience
8. Extensive proven experience in digital product management within the banking or financial services industry.
9. Strong demonstrated leadership experience, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams to achieve goals and objectives.
10. Strong understanding of banking/finance industry, operations, digital technology, and emerging trends in fintech.
11. Strong understanding of Fraud and Cyber threat mitigation in a digital service context.
12. Demonstrated experience in working with stakeholders to design and implement product enhancements and develop a product backlog aligned with the vendor's product release cycle.
13. Excellentmunication skills, with the ability to effectively conveyplex ideas and concepts to diverse stakeholders.
14. Analytical mindset, with the ability to translate data and insights into actionable strategies and rmendations.
