Job Description
As a Project Manager, you will oversee the planning and execution of capital projects/programs to ensure delivery of high-quality infrastructure assets for the community.
You will serve as a subject matter expert, offering project management and technical guidance on civil works and other capital initiatives.
Duties:
* Prepare reports on project progress, issues, and changes for stakeholders.
* Manage all aspects of project and program activities, including preparing RFQ/RFT documentation, scheduling, conducting feasibility assessments, and developing briefs for consultants and other service providers.
* Collaborate with stakeholders, contractors, and consultants to devise effective, high-quality solutions that align with project scope, budget, timelines, and deliverables.
* Provide detailed advice, analysis, and reports to Council stakeholders, offering recommendations on project briefs, major developments, and infrastructure projects.
Requirements:
* Bachelor of Construction Management/Civil Engineering or a related field.
* Strong understanding and ability to draft/assess Request for Quote and Request for Tender documentation related to capital projects/programs.
* Familiarity with Project Management software like Asana, Trello, Primavera P6, Microsoft Project.
* Prior experience in the delivery of civil works including capital projects and programs.

What We Offer
* Immediate start in this contract role paying $65-$75 per hour + Super with possibility to transition to permanent.
* 35 hours per week with 1 flexi day every fortnight.
