As a Personal Care Assistant, you’ll be part of an experienced, engaged and dedicated team helping to create a welcoming, professional and supportive care experience for the residents of St Vincent’s Care Services Douglas.
Located by the Ross River in sunny Townsville and close to Townsville Hospital and James Cook University, St Vincent’s Care Services Douglas will deliver outstanding levels of wellbeing and comfort for our residents and a positive uplifting work/life balance for our staff.

Things that work for us:
* Certificate III in Individual Support / Certificate III Aged Care or similar qualification is essential
* Experience in an aged care environment
* Personal care provision that is consistent with the mission and philosophy of our organisation
* Experience providing services and activities centred around client needs including grooming, showering, mobility, meals, toileting, social activities
* High level of customer service skills
* Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills
* Ability to follow directives as per care plan
* Understanding of Aged Care and resident rights and responsibilities
* National Police Certificate (within the last 6 months)
* NDIS Worker Screening Check will be a requirement of this role.
