Lively Eaters is a private Allied Health practice that prides itself on providing quality family-centred therapy for a range of childhood feeding and mealtime disorders. We have Speech Pathologists, Occupational Therapists, Dietitians, Infant and Paediatric Mental Health specialists and a Paediatrician who work together striving for the best outcomes for children and their families.
Lively Eaters has Centres in Kensington and Littlehampton and also provides services state-wide and nationally via telehealth facilities.
Lively Eaters is committed to understanding the ‘whole family’ dynamic to assess and assist families with children’s mealtime challenges. As such we strive to provide therapeutic services to meet the needs of each family unit, rather than assimilating families into ‘set programs’.
Purpose of the Role:
To support Lively Eaters therapists in providing organised, efficient and goal-directed Feeding Therapy whilst fulfilling the needs of every client. Please note you will not be providing Feeding Therapy directly to clients in this role.

Responsibilities of our Support Services Team Member:
Responsiveness to clients and staff in a fast-paced clinic where flexibility (with efficiency) is vital, all the while maintaining a calm and positive experience for our valued clients.
Provide support to Administration staff, Director and Therapists to provide gold-standard client service
Manage weekly food shopping for client therapy
Manage food inventory and stock supply and rotation in the kitchen and clinic rooms
Manage food safety and kitchen hygiene as per our food safety policy
Maintain a safe and secure working environment for children and staff
Manage stock control of all products and resources
Facilitate cost-effective solutions to therapists’ needs and resource requirements
Design and develop resources as requested by therapists
Support daily planning, set up and pack up – ensuring therapists have food and resources available for each appointment and that rooms are cleaned after each session and dishes washed.
Ensure smooth running of the day by managing the kitchen/laundry/cleaning duties between the therapists’ appointments
Assist in the implementation of group therapy sessions by pre-cooking recipes and cleaning following the sessions

Reliability
Previous experience within the Healthcare sector is desirable
G Suite experience and Cloud-based CRM systems use
Current Working with Children Check (WWCC) prior to commencing the position
Current First Aid certificate
Due to expansion we have multiple positions available:
2 x part-time salaried positions based at our Kensington Centre (job share to cover Monday- Friday 8.30am – 5.00pm). To commence as soon as possible in February 2025.
1 x part-time casual position based at our Littlehampton Centre (must be available Mon,Tues,Thur, Fri however hours will vary each week and may not be each day every week). To commence as soon as possible in January 2025.
