Job Description
We are seeking an enthusiastic and skilled Grounds & Maintenance Officer to join our team on a full-time basis (1.0 FTE). The successful applicant will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and upkeep of our grounds and facilities.
The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Responsibilities
1. Maintain the cleanliness and upkeep of our grounds and facilities
2. Perform routine maintenance tasks, including gardening, repairs, and minor renovations
3. Operate and maintain various equipment, including lawn mowers, generators, and other machinery
4. Assist with events and activities, such as sports days and school fairs
Requirements
To be considered for this role, you must:
* Be an active Christian and regularly attend church
* Subscribe wholeheartedly to the Christway College Statement of Faith
* Have excellent communication and problem-solving skills
* Be able to work independently and as part of a team
* Hold a valid Working With Children Check/VIT and comply with our Child Safety Code of Conduct and Child Protection and Safety Policy
