Seeking an experienced Director to join our clients team, play a vital role in shaping the lives of our future generations!As the Director, you will play a vital role in building connections within our community, ensuring the wellbeing of children, and leading initiatives that promote inclusivity, creativity, and growth.The successful applicant will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our centre's operations, ensuring the delivery of an exceptional early childhood program that meets or exceeds industry standards. You will lead a team of educators, foster positive relationships with families, and ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements. Duties include but are not limited to: Leadership: Lead and inspire a team of early childhood educators to deliver high-quality programs aligned with the centre's philosophy and values. Program Development: Design, implement, and continuously improve an engaging, developmentally appropriate curriculum that meets the needs of all children. Family Engagement: Build and maintain positive relationships with families, providing regular updates on children's progress and addressing any concerns. Operational Management: Oversee daily centre operations, including budgeting, staff scheduling, and resource management. Compliance: Ensure the centre complies with all relevant licensing, regulatory, and safety requirements. Team Development: Mentor and support staff in their professional growth through regular training and ongoing professional development. Community Involvement: Engage with the local community and build partnerships that enhance the centre's offerings and foster a sense of community among families. To be successful you will have: Experience in a Nominated Supervisor position in an Early Childhood Service or experience in a leadership position in an Early Childhood Service. Proven ability in all areas of administrative procedure, curriculum development, parent and community liaison, staff professional development and training, team leadership and management of staff. Understanding and working knowledge of WHS legislation. Demonstrated knowledge of service’s requirements of the Child Care Subsidy (CCS) system and ability to perform software application for compliance. Demonstrated knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework and/or My Time Our Place Framework, Education and Care Services National Law (2010), Education and Care Services National Regulations (2011), Family Assistance Law (Child Care Subsidy 2018). Previous experience in successfully managing a budget for an early education and care service. Ability to collaborate, manage and liaise with the committee Strong communication skills both written and verbal Qualifications Degree in Early Childhood from a recognised University (as listed on the approved qualification list by ACECQA), or: Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care (or equivalent) Current Provide an Emergency First Aid response in an Education and Care Setting qualification Current ACECQA approved Anaphylaxis and emergency asthma management training Valid Working with Children Check Accredited Child Protection Training This is a great opportunity to make your mark on a local community.
