We are seeking a part-time Compliance Officer (3 days/week) to support in Ethics and Compliance, Company Secretarial, Licensing management, and legal tasks. Description The part-time Compliance Officer will provide support in three key areas: Ethics and Compliance, Company Secretarial, and Licensing management. Key responsibilities include drafting reports on investigations, maintaining accurate records, assisting with internal investigations, and managing the compliance register. The role also involves drafting board resolutions and meeting minutes, maintaining the ASIC register, and ensuring timely submission of license applications and renewals. Additionally, the officer will assist with the review and negotiation of commercial contracts across various divisions. The ideal candidate will have a strong interest in compliance management, legal principles, and attention to detail, with the ability to maintain confidentiality. This is a temporary, part-time position (3 days a week) based at the client's Rydalmere office, offering an opportunity to contribute to multiple areas of compliance and legal support within a dynamic organization. Profile Strong understanding of legal principles and compliance management Non-lawyer, ideally with a Graduate Certificate in Legal Studies Strong interest in ethics, compliance, and licensing matters Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information Experience or familiarity with drafting reports and legal documents Ability to work independently and collaboratively Good communication skills, both written and verbal Proactive and able to manage multiple tasks effectively Job Offer Hybrid working model, offering flexibility between onsite and remote work.
