we are seeking a highly motivated human resources business partner to join our geelong-based team on a full-time basis. As a member of the people and culture team, you will assist the general managers in divisional development, contributing to general human resource needs.
this role involves:
* in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, minimising legal risk and ensuring regulatory compliance
* managing and resolving complex employee relations issues
* conducting effective, thorough and objective investigations
* supporting workforce retention by working closely with management and employees
* providing detailed hr policy guidance and interpretation
* providing high-level eba guidance and interpretation
* supporting the delivery of operational recruitment processes as aligned with mccoll's classifications
you will be a driven, practical individual who is passionate about people. You will have exceptional relationship management skills, underpinned by your ability to build trust and influence across a diverse range of stakeholders.
requirements for success in this dynamic role include:
* tertiary qualifications in human resources, law, business or related field
* experience within a similar role, ideally within transport and logistics
* demonstrated experience managing complex hr business issues and workplace planning needs
* experience in industrial relations and eba management (preferred)
