Key Responsibilities:
As a Regional Lead for SAP, you will be the primary interface for market deal pursuits, responsible for crafting and executing the overall vision and strategy. You will provide thought leadership, develop practice roadmaps, and drive offering development. Your role includes influencing complex solution design, pre-sales, innovation, and partner management. You will work closely with market units to secure strategic opportunities and achieve revenue targets, shape deals through your network with partner channel leads, regional leads, and domain executives, and guide budgetary matters, project governance, and risk mitigation for complex transformation programs.
In this Regional Lead role, you can expect to:
· Leverage experience as a Service Integrator to enhance service delivery and integration.
· Manage relationships with vendors and build a strong network within the SAP community across various industries.
· Engage and communicate effectively with C-Suite executives from a customer standpoint.
· Apply experience in cloud migration, preferably in at least one industry such as Public Sector & Health.
· Initiate conversations with customers embarking on the SAP Modernization journey to S/4HANA.
· Lead and drive S/4HANA Assessments to develop customer roadmaps for SAP Modernization to S/4HANA.
· Design successful and differentiating solutions for customers on their SAP Modernization journey to S/4HANA.
· Lead multidisciplinary teams, including consulting, testing, integrations, cloud enablement, and change management, as part of solution leadership for RFPs.
· Present Cognizant’s offerings and key accelerators to customers and opportunities.
· Demonstrate industry domain and process leadership skills in customer conversations to build trust.
· Support business development and pre-sales activities by providing technical expertise, solution demos, proposals, and estimations.
· Understand consulting and SAP methodology, user-centric design, and generate actionable and impactful roadmaps that engage the organization to achieve strategic milestones.
· Leverage deep package expertise in functional/practice areas to address customer needs, create proof of concepts, and credentialize solutions.
· Communicate effectively across stakeholders with deep knowledge of IT services/IT outsourcing globally.
· Analyse sales opportunities and qualify leads and opportunities.
· Articulate vision and lead effective teams across the enterprise with strong executive communication skills, productively challenging counterparts and bringing valuable insights.
· Manage relationships with executive leadership and business units, aligning stakeholders to strategic plans and mediating conflicts with outstanding interpersonal abilities.
· Exhibit excellent organizational and leadership skills to build a strong strategy function and lead by example, with strong project management, budgeting, talent management, and business operations skills.
Qualification/Experiences:
· Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Information Systems or related field
· Experience in consultative selling with deep network in SAP channel and in the region.
· Minimum 20 years of experience in SAP domain, including at least 5 years of experience in SAP S/4 HANA
· Experience in selling or solutioning mid to large size SAP Programs as a Architect in SAP S/4HANA Transformation deal
· Deep understanding of the journey to S/4HANA for a customer with the various options
· Experience in pre-sales activities including leading RFP / RFI responses as Solution Lead
· Experience of managing multiple streams within a program such as functional, integration, data migration, change management
· Experience in running S/4HANA Assessments to help clients develop their S/4HANA Roadmap
· Should have breadth of understanding of overall SAP landscape and interdependencies between other modules and cross functional integration
· Awareness of the SAP Product roadmap and the various trends
· Ability to act as trusted advisor to customer program team, represent during Steering Committee meetings and engage with CXOs and department heads Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
· Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
· Ability to travel domestically and internationally as required
