Working closely with the OSHC Manager, you can create something extraordinary from the ground up leaning on your knowledge and experiences. The co-ordinator will act as a 2 IC to the OSHC Manager.The OSHC Co-ordinator will work from 7.00-9.00am and 2.00-6.00pm, Monday – Friday (as well as full-time vacation care, additional hours available for applicants with early childhood qualifications), providing a service that fosters a wide range of indoor and outdoor recreational activities according to our school policies and procedures.Key DutiesAssist in the planning, implementation and evaluation of a stimulating and diverse program relevant to the developmental needs of children attending the service, including those with additional needs.Assist in organising and maintaining program resources and ensuring the program venue is maintained to a high standard.Establish guidelines that encourage positive behavior and facilitate effective interaction between groups and individuals utilising the service.Administer procedures that ensure the health and safety of all children.Report and document observations of individuals or groups of children and the activities they are participating in for planning purposes.Model and live the Caulfield Grammar School values and behaviours.Skills and ExperienceExperience working with school-aged children in delivering children’s indoor and outdoor activities in an OSHC or vacation care program environment.
