Paediatric Occupational Therapist - Permanent Full or Part time position available This position is ideal for an occupational therapist who wants to make a difference to children and families.You have the opportunity to work within an experienced team including other experienced occupational therapists (you're not alone!), speech pathologists, teachers, educators, allied health assistants and key workers.We offer opportunities to facilitate groups as well as provide 1:1 therapy, a generous professional development budget, and clinical supervision is available as well as informal support from a close team of dedicated, passionate early interventionists.The role Provide support services to children and their families Work in multiple settings including schools, homes, clinic or out in the general community Consult and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders in order for clients to achieve their goals Facilitate liaison and support between families/carers and relevant professionals in community and education settings Assist in preparing children for their next educational environment and provide support to other key stakeholders Work within a multidisciplinary and transdisciplinary team Immediate start Essential criteria: Relevant tertiary qualifications in Occupational Therapy and current registration with (AHPRA).Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills A current NSW Working With Children's Check and first aid certificate (or ability to obtain one) Current driver's licence Desirable criteria: Experience or keen interest in working with children who have disability and developmental delays and their families; A basic level of understanding about the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) Proven ability to liaise effectively with internal and external stakeholders
