In this role, you will uncover and analyse user behaviours, motivations, and needs through in-depth UX research, using your insights to improve usability and streamline services. You will collaborate closely with senior UX/UI designers to identify opportunities to enhance usability and deliver user-centred solutions. Key responsibilities will include: Research and analyse user behaviours, motivations, and needs through qualitative and quantitative customer research methods with a focus on UX research to identify opportunities to improve customer and staff experiences. Contribute to the mapping of user journey and backend processes, systems and technologies to better meet user needs. Lead the planning, facilitating, and reporting of customer and user research, such as organising research panels (typically through external service providers), recruiting and administering research participants, as well as testing to improve task flows for our customers and staff. Build relationships with key internal and external stakeholders. Assist with upskilling and training others in experience research practices. About You Hold a Bachelor's degree or higher in design, marketing, business or psychology subject areas or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training. Understanding of customer and UX research methods, including surveys, user testing, tree testing, concept and prototype testing, user journey mapping, with the ability to identify pain points and opportunities to improve. Experience leading moderated and unmoderated user testing. Analytical, conceptual and report writing skills to support in the delivery of solutions to complex user experience issues. Strong collaboration, interpersonal, verbal, written and visual communication skills including an ability to work effectively across formal structural boundaries. Demonstrated experience in stakeholder management, including liaising with key stakeholders to understand their needs, gather requirements, and translate insights into actionable research plans. Organisational and administrative skills to assist in market research. Experience with research panels, recruitment of participants, and qualitative or quantitative market research would be highly regarded.
