The Role
As a Maintenance Officer at our barramundi farm in Cone Bay, WA, you will be a jack of all trades working on both land and sea. While a trade qualification is beneficial, extensive hands-on experience is highly valued.
Key Responsibilities
* Carry out scheduled maintenance tasks to ensure equipment and resources run smoothly.
* Quickly respond to and resolve equipment breakdowns to minimize downtime.
* Maintain and repair engines and boats, ensuring they are in optimal working condition.
* Perform welding, fitting, fabricating, and some machining tasks as needed.
* Conduct general servicing and low voltage electrical work to keep all systems operational.
Role Requirements
* Mechanical trade qualified or proven experience with mechanical work.
* Previous experience as a Maintenance Officer or similar role.
* Experience with Diesel mechanics, Automotive or Fabrication.
* Experience in 12V electrical, hydraulics, and welding will be advantageous.
* Proven experience in finding mechanical faults.
* Ensure compliance with all legislative requirements.
* Current drivers' licence.
* Strong communication skills.
* Rights to work in Australia.
* Successfully pass pre-employment medical and drug test.
