About the role
Select Plant Australia operates as part of the Laing O'Rourke Group and has one of the industry's largest and most diverse ranges of equipment, accommodation and tools to deliver on every type of construction project.
We have a rare and exciting opportunity for a Hire Controller to join our Select Plant Australia team.
You will support our customers with their plant and equipment hire needs to enable the build of big and exciting construction projects, working location is primarily based in Laverton North.
Key Responsibilities
Fulfil customer requests for the hire of construction plant, equipment, vehicles, site accommodation and tools.
Obtain weekly timesheets from suppliers for any operated plant transactions and enter these hours into the system.
Address all customer queries in a timely and effective manner.
Reconcile project charges each month prior to charge run to ensure all customer invoicing is current and accurate.
Regular weekly site visits to your allocated projects to integrate with the project team.
About you
Previous experience working in the Plant and Equipment Hire industry.
The ability to plan and coordinate in order to meet and exceed customer requirements.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Understanding of commercial drivers and how to interpret financial information.
Self-organised, have attention for detail and motivation to succeed and complete work to deadlines.
Driven to work in a fast-paced environment and able to prioritise workload.
Experience with Microsoft Office packages, in particular Excel, and excellent data entry skills.
