If you’re passionate about becoming a driving force behind the establishment of a technology environment that offers a leading experience for students, staff, and partners, we want to hear from you!A Day in the Life of a Platform Architect at UTSLead the design and architecture of scalable, secure Digital Experience Platforms, ensuring alignment with future business needs.Develop and maintain platform architecture roadmaps, aligning with interdependent platforms and overall enterprise architecture strategic goals.Optimize platform performance to meet response time and throughput requirements.Implement robust security measures and ensure adherence to architectural standards and best practices for the platform.Provide technical guidance to teams, conduct architecture reviews, and resolve complex technical challenges.Stay on top of current industry trends, emerging technologies, and collaborate with the UTS architecture community to develop architectural guardrails and drive best practices across the organization.What You’ll Need to SucceedRelevant tertiary qualification in IT with relevant experience, or an equivalent level of proven expertise in Digital Experience Platform architecture associated with Martech systems like Optimizely DXP, Bynder, Form Assembly, Salesforce CRM and Marketing Cloud and Customer Data Platforms in large, complex organizations.Proficient in designing and architecting complex IT platforms, including infrastructure, applications, and databases and with a solid understanding of enterprise architecture frameworks, principles like TOGAF.Strong understanding of security best practices, with a track record of implementing robust security measures in platform design.Ability to tackle complex technical challenges with innovative solutions - using emerging technologies and architectural patterns to enhance performance and scalability.Proven track record of collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, stakeholders and external partners to align platform architecture with business goals and ensure successful outcomes.Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate business needs into technical solutions and make informed decisions to optimise platform performance and security.Remuneration & BenefitsA competitive and comprehensive remuneration package will be offered.This role attracts 17% superannuation in addition to the base salary.UTS staff also benefit from a wide range of Employee Benefits.
