The JCO will act as a central hub to engage strategically with Whole-of-Australian Government (WoAG) and international partners to identify threats, current system innovations, and ensure system interoperability and integration.Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:Duties will include development of strategies, plans, and provide support for control functions and implementation activities. Activities will include managing the risks, decisions, issues, and coordinating with stakeholders.Manage and conduct research and act as a liaison point in order to identify and understand complex multidomain sUAS threats and technologies.Create and deliver briefings and reports for various audiences, senior leaders, stakeholders, etc.Organise and facilitate workshops and presentations, ensure effective communications, and collaborate with branch members and stakeholders.Experience requiredProgram/ Project Management qualification, or within Business/ Finance or Government Administration.Background working within Defence in a Project management position, and hold a strong understanding of the Capability Life Cycle and management of Defence projects.Experience working on projects focused around Counter-Uncrewed Aerial Systems (CUAS), and drone/counter-drone knowledge.Ability to work in a dynamic and quickly evolving role, hold strong organisational, written and verbal skills.Next stepsIf this role sounds like a good match, and you're interested in hearing more, please apply via the job ad or send your updated resume to ******.
