SICE ANZ is currently seeking a Document Controller who will play a key role in the delivery of our infrastructure projects in Sydney by supporting the effective quality control, management, submission and storage of documentation throughout the projects lifecycle.This is a fixed 6 months term contract that could be extended depending on the Projects needs.The day-to-day activities of this position will include:Create and maintain the project document control register.Administer the Document Management System (e.g., SharePoint, Confluence, etc.) to preserve and protect the information from misuse or misappropriation.Manage the front and back end of the SICE’s SharePoint site to ensure it is updated and addresses the changing business needs.Maintain different project registers and databases as required, including access management to ensure users get appropriate read/write privileges.Assess and validate that all documentation meets the corporate/project quality standards.Organise and archive project or corporate documents as required.Facilitate the submission of all project documentation through the specific project software within the time and quality parameters, including adherence to the established operating procedures during document submissions.Assist in the creation of procedures to guarantee the appropriate management of the project records.Provide other administration support as required.Provide support to managers and leaders when required.The successful candidate will have:Previous experience in document control or similar project support roles.Solid understanding of SharePoint and Microsoft365 tools, e.g., Power Automate.Solid command of MS Office, especially MS Word and Excel (Advanced preferred).Solid time management, planning and organizational skills, including initiative and proactiveness.Ability to balance multiple tasks simultaneously and transition between projects.Strong verbal and written communication skills and attention to detail.Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team as well as independently in an efficient manner.Solid analytical and problem-solving skills, including the ability to learn new technologies quickly.Knowledge of coding (e.g., Python) and Automation tools (Power Apps) preferred.SICE ANZ is an Equal Opportunity Employer, inviting you to join an organisation dedicated to fostering a diverse, inclusive, and collaborative working environment.
