About the project John Holland is Goldlin Q's nominated design and construction contractor for GCLR3, to extend the existing light rail network by 6.7kms from Broadbeach to Burleigh Heads, including eight new light rail stations, two new light rail-bus connections, and intersection upgrades along the alignment.
Responsibilities of the role include Under direction, develop and recommend inspection and sampling techniques, quality control plans, process control procedures, testing and analysis procedures to ensure that products meet specifications and standards.
Administer the implementation of Project Pack Web Quality Modules and Power Bi Reporting Dashboards.
Provide technical advice and assistance to the Project Team for quality-related activities.
Validate work lot records for conformance and completeness.
Prepare audit reports summarising production and quality issues together with recommended corrective actions.
Understand compliance and reporting procedures and processes.
Advocate a quality culture that continually seeks to improve the quality of its products and services.
Ensure the effective implementation of construction quality planning and work lot management processes.
Support the implementation and monitoring of the quality and completion objectives, requirements, risks, and other issues that may adversely impact the surety of successful project delivery.
Drive the effective application of the quality management system, including processes for improvement of the system and the assurance of conformity to customer and applicable statutory and regulatory requirements.
To be successful in this role, you will have Diploma or Lead Auditor Qualification in Engineering, Science, Building, Construction, Quality Management or Project Management.
Experience with quality management systems, planning techniques and tools - Awareness of relevant Australian and International standards, both technical and those related to management systems.
5+ years engineering or construction experience, preferably in road infrastructure.
Quality Representative (large projects) (2-3 years).
Incident / Non-conformance Investigation practices (2-3 years).
Risk management practices (2-3 years).
Audit management practices (2-3 years).
