The Opportunity:
Newcastle Anglican are seeking permanent Care Assistants at our Mirrabooka Place Aged Care facility – Gloucester NSW. You will be part of a multi-disciplinary team providing excellent care to seniors in our residential aged care homes.
This role offers an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic and energetic individual looking to gain further experience in a great team environment. Role & Responsibilities:
* Actively promote Anglican Care’s positive culture through interactions with residents, staff and their families
* Consistent delivery of person centered care to residents in our facilities
* Observe confidentiality matters at all times associated with documentation and communications
* Abide by Aged Care Standards
* Work as an effective team member
About you?
* Certificate III/IV in Individual Support or equivalent
* Current First Aid Certificate (ongoing requirement)
* An ability to work effectively as an individual and within a team
* Effective written and verbal communication skills
* Ability to accurately document residents care/progress
