Job Type: Permanent position | Full time positionJob DescriptionCentre Manager/Centre DirectorRising Stars Early Learning Academy is a brand-new childcare centre opening in early 2024.At Rising Stars Early Learning Academy, we aim to create safe, loving, and homelike spaces for children, enabling their exploration of identity.Our service provides a creative, safe, and nurturing environment that sparks each child's curiosity and innate desire to learn.We celebrate children's learning and provide an environment that inspires play and encourages children to discover, question, create, and investigate their world.As a newly opened service, we strive to provide harmonious and supportive teams to discover high-quality early education for every child.Are you passionate about shaping the future of young minds?Do you have experience in early years education and a desire to lead and inspire a team?We are currently seeking dedicated and qualified professionals for the positions of Centre Managers/Directors in Early Years Education and Care.Rising Stars Early Learning Academy is committed to child safety and wellbeing; all staff are required to behave in a way that the service has:ZERO tolerance of racism and expectations that staff and volunteers will act on incidents of racism.That children will be supported to express their culture and enjoy their cultural rights.Position Overview: As a Centre Manager or Centre Director, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of a childcare centre, ensuring the delivery of high-quality early years education and care.You will lead a team of passionate educators, create a nurturing and stimulating environment for children, and establish strong partnerships with families and the local community.Key Responsibilities: Lead, mentor, and support a team of educators to deliver exceptional early years education and care.Develop and implement curriculum and educational programs that promote children's learning and development.Ensure compliance with all relevant legislation, regulations, and quality standards.Establish and maintain strong relationships with families, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.Foster a safe, inclusive, and welcoming environment for children, families, and staff.Manage administrative tasks, including budgets, rostering, and resource allocation.Requirements: Diploma or bachelor's degree in early childhood education or a related field and at least two years of experience in a leadership role.Current certification or willingness to obtain certification in First Aid, CPR, and Asthma/Anaphylaxis management.Thorough understanding of relevant legislation, regulations, and quality frameworks (e.g., NQF, EYLF).Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.A genuine passion for early childhood education and a commitment to providing the best possible care and education for children. #J-18808-Ljbffr
