About us:
Gladstone Hospital is an 83-bed hospital and offers a range of general and specialist inpatient and outpatient services including emergency, general medicine and surgery, basic orthopaedic, cancer care, clinical investigation, obstetrics, maternity, gynaecology, high dependency and coronary care, palliative care, medical imaging, pathology, and paediatrics.
The pharmacy team provides dispensing and clinical pharmacy services to all areas of the hospital. The Cancer Care Pharmacist works closely with the Cancer Care Service Team to provide outpatient chemotherapy to oncology and haematology patients in the Oncology Day Unit.
About the role:
This position will function as part of a team and is responsible for the provision high level client focussed pharmacy services to patients in the cancer care service of Gladstone Hospital.
About you:
Mandatory qualification/s: Possession of a degree in Pharmacy is mandatory for this position. Registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) as a Pharmacist in Australia (or eligible for registration in Australia).
1. Proven experience in a clinical pharmacy position, preferably in cancer care and a demonstrated ability to apply evidence in a practical manner to achieve patient outcomes.
2. Demonstrated ability to supervise and manage staff.

Total remuneration value of up to $152,776 p.a. is comprised of:
