We’re seeking a talented and experienced Senior Landscape Architect to join our team as an Associate (Design Manager). In this role, you will lead a team of skilled designers and horticulturists in overseeing the development and execution of landscape design projects. You’ll be responsible for ensuring that each project meets our high standards of quality, creativity, and client satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Lead and manage a team of landscape designers and horticulturist, providing guidance, support, and professional development.
2. Develop and implement design strategies that align with client objectives and project goals.
3. Oversee all phases of landscape design projects, from conceptualisation to execution, ensuring timely and budget-conscious delivery.
4. Collaborate with clients to understand their vision, needs, and preferences, translating them into innovative and practical design solutions.
5. Coordinate with architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure seamless integration of design elements.
6. Stay current with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies to bring fresh ideas and perspectives to our projects.
7. Manage project budgets and schedules, ensuring efficient use of resources and adherence to timelines.
8. Conduct site assessments and evaluations to inform design decisions and address any potential challenges.
Qualifications:
9. Bachelor’s degree in landscape architecture, Horticulture, Environmental Design, or a related field.
10. Minimum of 5 years of experience in landscape design.
11. Proven track record of successful project management and client relationship management.
12. Strong proficiency in landscape design software (e.g., Vectorwords, Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft Office, Google Drive).
13. Exceptional leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
14. Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
15. Strong problem-solving skills and a keen eye for detail.
16. Professional licensure in landscape architecture (if applicable) is preferred.
