The Associate Nurse Unit Manager plays a vital role in achieving these goals.
Job Summary
Latrobe Regional Health is seeking an Associate Nurse Unit Manager to join our Community Residential Care Unit (CRCU). This role is 32 hours per fortnight on an ongoing basis.
The CRCU provides fourteen individual units, all fully equipped and self-contained.
The unit is staffed 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide dynamic and evidence-based clinical leadership and human and financial resource management
* Implement and coordinate care delivery, ensuring legislative compliance and adherence to policies and procedures
* Manage and coordinate the development of the unit, ensuring person-centred care and high standards of quality patient outcomes
* Lead the unit in implementing recovery-focused and non-punitive practices, including reducing seclusion and restraint practices
Requirements
* Support the Unit Manager in providing clinical leadership and resource management
* Implement care delivery plans, ensuring legislative compliance and adherence to policies
* Develop and manage the unit to ensure person-centred care and high standards of quality patient outcomes
* Lead the unit in implementing recovery-focused practices and reducing seclusion and restraint
Selection Criteria
* Dynamic and evidence-based clinical leadership and resource management skills
* Ability to implement and coordinate care delivery plans
* Experience in managing and coordinating unit development and person-centred care
* Leadership skills to implement recovery-focused practices and reduce seclusion and restraint
