Hands on today. Eyes on tomorrow. We're looking for a Field Service Manager to create value for Club Assist by leading the Roadside Responder network in our Roadside Operations team in Sydney. Bring energy, care and excellence to our Roadside Operations As our Field Services Manager, you'll play a critical role in leading, coaching, developing, and training the Team Coaches and Roadside Responder teams to ensure Club Assist continues to provide and deliver a quality service to all customers. You'll bring skill and passion as you and your team strive to adopt a safety-first culture, live by the values, and champion the Code of Conduct across the Roadside network. To energise your Roadside team, you'll: Coach and develop Team Coaches and Roadside Responders to ensure Roadside productivity meets contractual requirements. Support the Roadside Operations Manager to proactively contribute and lead tactical meetings with the Roadside Team; ensuring adequate numbers of Roadside Responders (RR) are available to Club Assist. Always promote Club Assist Safety procedures by effectively managing all incidents and injuries and managing out of hours support as required. Manage employee performance, including performance reviews, employee recognition, capability building & succession planning, and proactively managing any performance issues. Oversee the recruitment & selection of potential Roadside Responders to maintain adequate resourcing and be accountable for the induction and successful onboarding of new Team Coaches and Roadside Responders. Review team performance and develop business improvement plans, as well as identifying development opportunities for the Team Coaches with the support of the Roadside Operations Manager. Proactively suggest process improvements and new training and development opportunities through constantly reviewing KPIs and the performance management system, and field visits ("Ride-outs"), to ensure competent performance improvement. Someone who'll lead by example by demonstrating an appropriate management style, treating all direct reports with respect and dignity, and promoting equity and fairness. Proven operational management experience, with a strong track record of success in improving team performance. Proven managerial and leadership experience. Strong internal and external customer communication and relationship skills. Ability to lead change and effectively manage initiatives. Proficient use of Microsoft Office Suite, Business Intelligence Reporting. Customer and Safety-first mindset. Current and valid Drivers Licence. It's not a deal-breaker, but a technical qualification in the Automotive sector and service delivery management knowledge would be advantageous. Who are we and why should you apply?
