The Senior Director - Positive Behaviour for Learning is a key role in the Directorate and across ACT Government. The Senior Director has responsibility for leading the implementation of Positive Behaviour for Learning (PBL) in the ACT and provision of universal training with a focus on inclusion and wellbeing. The Senior Director works collaboratively with other teams and divisions to provide a service offer that is flexible and delivers training to schools at their point of need. The position requires a person with exceptional leadership and management skills including expertise in policy development and advice to Government. Ideally, the successful candidate will have demonstrated experience in leading a team, as well as a strong understanding of and commitment to inclusion and wellbeing. This role reports to the Executive Branch Manager Complex Behaviour Support and Work Health and Safety, including day to day reporting obligations, to ensure a consistency in approach across the Education Directorate.
