About you:
Along with your collaborative and team player approach, you will have:
* An Electrical trade certification and WA A-grade Electrical License.
* A HV Operator ticket (desirable).
* Cert III or IV Instrumentation (desirable).
* Current Senior First Aid / CPR & LVR certificates (desirable).
* A Manual C-class Australian driver’s licence.
Key responsibilities:
* Maintain electrical infrastructure for the plant as per the weekly schedule.
* Identify and recommend plant improvements to reduce cost and down time.
* Actively demonstrate behaviours in alignment to Gold Fields Values and lifesaving commitments.
* Ensure that all statutory and organisational, operational, reliability and safety requirements are always adhered to.
* Complete inspections to identify faults and raise quality notifications in SAP.
* Conduct preventative maintenance and repair electrical plant equipment in a safe and efficient manner.
* Conduct general repairs and calibration of industrial instrumentation (we will train and develop you).
* Logically and systematically solve problems by implementing sound fault finding processes.
* Conduct HV switching safely
* Assist with PLC investigation and repairs.
* Ensure all electrical work activity is carried out in accordance with AS/NZS3000 and site safety standards and procedures.
