Child and Family Wellbeing Practitioner Medium-High Level - Sunshine CoastWe encourage Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander applicants.We are crafting a team of change-makers and we want you!Join our revolutionary new approach to building healthy communities.Position SummaryThe role of Child and Family Wellbeing Practitioner provides a medium to high level range of relevant skills, abilities, and services as part of agreed plans for children and young people aged 0-18 in need, and children at risk of significant harm.The role includes high-level assessments and recommendations identifying ongoing supports necessary for case management for children and their families, as well as facilitating and maintaining high-level advocacy and interventions.Primary Role:Child & Family Wellbeing Practitioner Medium-High LevelWork Location:Caloundra, Sunshine Coast, QueenslandEmployment Type:4 days (34.4hrs)Salary Range:$38 - $45 per hourQualification & Experience:Certificate, Diploma, or Degree in Community/Social Services and/or a minimum of 2 years work experience.Reports to:Team LeaderPosition DescriptionOrganise, supervise, observe, and analyse contact between children and their parents in accordance with Court directions or orders, and provide written reports regarding these sessions.Make assessments about the quality of interactions and take action if deemed harmful.Trained to deliver DFV programs/interventions, Triple P Parenting Courses, and Circle of Security Program, contributing to assessments and evaluations of this work.Support the work of the Targeted Youth & Disabilities, working with young people transitioning to adulthood (T2A) and those who have been homeless to enhance self-care skills and support their move into independent living.Undertake direct work with parents/carers regarding daily tasks and parenting skills to improve the quality of life for children and young people.Work with parents to improve their understanding of early attachment and the impact of domestic violence/substance abuse on children's development.Provide support and advice to parents and young people regarding local support services, benefits, housing, training, and employment opportunities.Undertake tasks in various settings including family homes, schools, children's centres, foster homes, and young people's accommodation.Develop positive working relationships with families, young people, and carers to improve quality of life and outcomes.Contribute to team duty services and responses as required.Maintain accurate and up-to-date case records in accordance with REFOCUS policy and service standards.Due to the high volume of applications, only successful applicants will be contacted.#J-18808-Ljbffr
