Job Description

Your Key Responsibilities
* Detect breaches to legislation, establish facts through investigation, and take appropriate action in accordance with powers and requirements.
* Respond to community complaints/concerns in a timely manner, providing accurate advice and information.
* Positively engage with community members and businesses to encourage voluntary compliance.
* Build community awareness and understanding of local laws, relevant acts, and their requirements.
* Monitor and update service request management systems.
Key Skills and Experience
* Ability to interact with staff, public, and external organisations effectively.
* Courtesy and empathy when dealing with the public, with excellent communication skills.
* Knowledge of local laws, other relevant legislation, and procedures pertaining to enforcement action.
* Experience delivering regulatory outcomes within the community at a face-to-face level.
* Demonstrated skills in animal handling, time management, and prioritisation.
