Postdoctoral Fellow – Australian National UniversityThe Research School of Earth Sciences at the Australian National University invites applications for Postdoctoral Fellow (Level A) or Research Fellow (Level B) in ocean-sea ice modelling.The Postdoctoral Fellow / Research Fellow is based in the Geophysical Fluid Dynamics (GFD) group to undertake research into the development and evaluation of global, high-resolution ocean and sea ice model configurations. The Postdoctoral/Research Fellow is expected to liaise and collaborate with the Consortium for Ocean-Sea Ice Modelling in Australia (COSIMA) partners to contribute to the Australian research community through the research initiative of the COSIMA consortium.A PhD in physical oceanography, climate science, geophysical fluid dynamics, or other relevant field is required, as well as demonstrated experience in modelling the ocean circulation and/or the coupled ocean-sea ice system.Classification: Postdoctoral Fellow (Level A) / Research Fellow (Level B)Salary package: Academic Level A ($68,307 – $86,646) Academic Level B ($94,287 – $107,381) + 17% SuperannuationTerms: Continuing (contingent funded) appointment of three (3) years.
