HR Advisor
Summary:
A professional HR Advisor is required to provide expert advice on employment issues, including Fair Work Act and National Employment Standards. The successful candidate will support managers with performance management, dispute resolution, and workplace investigations.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide professional advice on employment issues, including Fair Work Act and National Employment Standards.
* Support managers with performance management, dispute resolution, and workplace investigations.
* Advise on change management initiatives and assist with transition to new practices.
* Review and develop position descriptions ensuring compliance with HR policies and procedures.
* Act as a Grievance Officer and assist in grievance management and employee engagement activities.
* E nsure compliance with Occupational, Safety, and Health requirements and assist with injury risk management.
* Deliver training on HR practices and promote the Employee Assistance Program for employee well-being.
* Manage exit interviews, staff surveys, rewards programs, and recognition.
Requirements:
* Degree or post-graduate qualification in HR, Industrial Relations, or related field.
* Proven experience in an HR advisory role, particularly in employee relations and industrial relations.
* Strong knowledge of employment legislation, HR systems, and change management.
* Experience with grievance resolution, performance management, and HR compliance.
* Strong investigative and report-writing skills, with ability to handle sensitive situations.
* Client service experience in complex or medium to large organisations; health sector experience a plus.
* Sound knowledge of immigration & Visa requirements and International Recruitment advantageous.
* Current driver's license and National Criminal History Check required.
