My client is a large multinational company within the energy sector, and they are looking for an Accounts Receivable Officer to join the team on a temporary contract with the opportunity to go permanent in 6 months. You will be responsible for managing customer payments, invoices and credits, and month end tasks. This role also requires you to assist the Senior AR & Field Services Accountant with field services related tasks as needed.
Your new role Timely processing of customer invoices and payment clearingPrepare cashflow forecasting for customer payments and payments to FSP vendorsPrepare customer creditsPrepare receivable report fortnightly and follow up on overdue accountsLiaise with Customers to resolve queriesMonthly balance sheet reconciliationsMonth end journalsManage Service request mailbox queriesAssisting in external audit engagementsWhat you'll need to succeed Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field4+ years' experience in financial accounting, specifically in Accounts ReceivableGood oral and written communication skillsExcellent interpersonal skills, adaptability, and capacity to build positive relationshipsAnalytical skills and ability to solve problemsExperience with computerized accounting systems D365 and ConcurHold Australian Citizenship or Permanent ResidencyWhat you need to do now
